Denver’s Hidden Gem

Hampden Heights is built around the 33 acre Hampden Heights park which includes playgrounds, open spaces, baseball and soccer fields. Trails run through the neighborhood that connect to nearby Cherry Creek State Park and the Highline Canal. Within the park is the Hampden Heights Swim and Swim and Sport – a privately owned club that offers memberships for purchase to nearby residents.

This diverse neighborhood is one of the friendliest in Denver. You can often meet neighbors walking their dogs along the expansive trails. There are numerous events throughout the year hosted by the Hampden Heights Community Association including an Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July party at the pool and a Turkey Trot 5k run/walk through the neighborhood.

Signing up your kids for the Hampden Heights swim team, The Hurricanes, is a great way to provide them with a fun and challenging activity that will help them stay active and develop important life skills. The swim team provides an excellent opportunity for children to learn discipline, teamwork, and time management, as well as improve their overall fitness. Additionally, being a part of the team allows kids to make new friends and be part of a supportive community.
